Before you begin: Adding email capture to your quiz
If you want to send email results to your customers, then first you need to add a page in your quiz to allow them to input their email address.

From the default Quiz menu, click Add page, then click Email capture from the list. The default email capture template displays.
Optional: You can customize the template using the Content and Fields sections according to your preference.
Click Save.
Note: For GDPR reasons you can make this question optional to your customer by checking Enable ability to skip this question. You can also check Enable fake emails validation to minimize the possibility of fake email submission.
Enabling quiz result emails
When you've finished setting up your quiz to collect customer emails, you need to turn on the email results feature from the quiz’s settings.
You can send email results via Mailchimp or Klaviyo.
Note: This feature is available for the Advanced plan or higher.

Once you've configured the settings to your preference, test the email by taking the quiz yourself on your website. The user flow is from the email capture page, to the results page on your website, and then the email is triggered.
Quiz results are sent to the email address you input into the quiz's email capture field.
Routing email replies to your email account
By default, if your customer replies to a quiz result email, that email is routed to a no-reply email address at Quiz Kit. If you want to route email replies to your own email account, you need to configure the DNS records for your domain.
Configuring DNS records
Caution: Misconfiguring DNS records can result in customer replies being misrouted or undelivered. Follow the instructions carefully and verify all settings with your DNS provider.
Steps:
Verify domain access
Create a TXT record in your domain's DNS settings to verify that you have access to the email account or TXT records for your domain. Use the following value for the TXT record:
mandrill_verify.RaP4jujb9G14ilYVNVPSlA
.
Set up CNAME records for email routing
To properly route email replies to your server, create two CNAME records in your DNS:
Record 1: Name:
mte1._domainkey.4frnt.com
, Value:dkim1.mandrillapp.com
Record 2: Name:
mte2._domainkey.4frnt.com
, Value:dkim2.mandrillapp.com
Configure DMARC Record
Create a TXT record in your DNS with the host
_dmarc.cardonformen.com
and the following value:v=DMARC1; p=none;
. This ensures that email replies are correctly routed to your email server.
When you’ve correctly set up your domain’s DNS settings, any customer replies to quiz results emails are sent directly to your email server.
