# Questions

The **Question** page is the main page type used in quizzes, however there are also [Additional page](/account-and-settings/quiz-builder/quiz/additional-page-types.md) types that you can add in this section, such as a **Transition page**, **Form field**, and **Email capture**.

## Questions

To add a new question page, from the quiz editor, click **Add page**, then click **Question**. 

### Question types

There are several question **Types** that you can select once you've added a question:

* Multiple choice
  * Allows you to toggle an image or bullets off or on.
* Range slider
* Dropdown
* File upload

### Question settings

After you've selected a question type, there are settings you can modify:

* **Marketing property name**: An internal label that can be used when connecting to third-party marketing apps
* **Hide progress bar**: Hide the progress bar for all question types
* **Enable users to select more than one answer:** Users can select multiple answers for this question
* **Enable ability to skip this question**: Users have the option to skip the question
* **Don't show this question while creating the answer paths**: Enable if the question doesn't affect the recommendations
* **Custom JS**: Apply any additional JavaScript code to this section

Range slider:

* **Display answers above range slider:** Hides the answers until you hover over the slider

File upload:

* **File type**: Choose from image, video or document 
* **Allow multiple uploads**: Allow users to upload up to 3 files
* **Upload error message:** Set an error message for failed uploads

## Question content

Once you've adjusted the settings for the question, you can edit the **Content**. There are multiple editing options available for question content:

* **Heading**: Most often used as the primary question, displayed at the top of the page
* **Subheading**: An additional description for more information about the question if required
* **Bottom text**: Text to be showcased beneath the answer choices.
* **Image**: A primary image for the question page. You also have the flexibility to edit the image position.
* **Image position**: The position you want the image to be in on the page.
* **Tooltip heading**: Add a tooltip heading - A tooltip is an informative feature, revealing extra context when you hover over the ⓘ symbol.
* **Tooltip description**: Add a description (more text) for the tooltip

## Answers

After you've created a question type and adjusted its content you can create the Answer for that question.

Under the **Answers** section you can adjust the following settings. They apply to all answers under the same **Question**.

* **Orientation**: Horizontal, or Vertical
* **Style**: Narrow, Wide, or Inline
* **Enable swipe on mobile:** Allows mobile users to interact with quiz by swiping

There are several editing options are available for the **Answers** section:

* **Title**: The primary text to be shown for the answer option.
* **Shopify tags**: Tags that are applied to customers who choose this answer
* **Description (optional)**: Include additional information about this answer text
* **Image**: Upload an image if your chosen question type allows the use of images
* **Leads to**: Specify whether the user progresses to a different question or the results page upon selecting this answer
* **Set delivery frequency**: This feature is accessible when subscription integration is enabled
* **Redirect URL**: Activate this option if you desire a custom redirect for users who choose this answer
* **Mobile slideshow settings**: Enables your customers to smoothly navigate through answers in a carousel format
