Settings

The Settings panel lets you control every global option for a quiz—naming, logic, layout, discounts, tracking, and more. Use the sections below to fine-tune your quiz before going live.

Quiz

These settings encompass the overall and universal configurations for your selected quiz.

  • Quiz name – name or rename your quiz at any time

  • Quiz key – copy for embeds or integrations

  • General notifications email – the email address where submission alerts go

  • Automated submission emails – send a copy of each quiz result to staff

  • Logic jumps – users see specific questions based on their previous answers

  • Auto-advance on answer – skip the “Next” button in the quiz

  • Instant redirect – send users to a custom URL right after answering

  • Allow duplicate questions – reuse the same question in different paths

  • Tag subscribers with answers – assign answers to customers as tags

  • Order properties off/on – include quiz data in Shopify orders

  • Results marketing fields – add metafields for Klaviyo, etc.


Layout

In the Layout section, you can establish a minimum height for your quiz section and select from a list of available animations for your various pages.

  • Section height – set a minimum height for all quiz pages

  • Question page animations – choose entrance animations (fade, slide, zoom)


Discount

Within the discount settings, you can choose the designated discount code for use upon quiz completion.

  • Discount code – select a Shopify discount code for quiz-takers

  • Show code before or on the results page

  • Email/phone – show discount code only to users who have provided their email/phone number


Add to Cart

In this section, you can customize the Add to Cart settings for your quiz.

  • Enable Add to Cart – let users add all recommended items

  • Smart recommendations – tailor recommendations to the customer

  • Toggle auto-redirect to Cart on or off

  • Disable the Add to Cart success popup

  • Choose what happens after Add to Cart (stay, cart, checkout)


Recommendations

In this section, you can adjust the settings for recommendations once a customer finishes the quiz.

  • Open recommended products in a new window

  • Display only in-stock products

  • Recommend products with a predefined quantity

  • Exclude specific products from recommendations

  • Ignore the store's currency format

  • Show addition settings in the products section of the quiz builder


Personalization

This feature is available for middle or higher plans

In this section, you can incorporate personalized options to enhance your customers' interaction with your quiz.

  • Enable status updates for returning customers

  • Dynamic settings to personalize your store's navigation menu

  • Integration of a "Your match" block tailored to your store theme

  • A dedicated section for recommended products


Tracking

In the Tracking settings, you have the option to enable or disable Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics. This is also the section where you can input event names for different segments of your quiz.

  • Toggle Facebook Pixel & Google Analytics events

  • Define custom event names for quiz start, completion, add-to-cart, etc.


Integrations

Within the integrations section, you choose the properties to be linked to your customer's profile. This area is also where you select your accessible list from your preferred CRM integration.

  • Map quiz fields to CRM properties (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Omnisend…)

  • Pick the list / segment where new leads are added


Translations

In this section, you have the ability to modify the language used in your quiz.

Edit text for:

  • Questions

  • Email / SMS

  • Discounts

  • Results

  • Subscriptions

  • UI copy: Next / Back / Navigation labels


Results email template

In this section, you activate the results email dispatched to the customer upon completing your quiz.

You can also enable and modify other features, including:

  • Displaying the discount code section

  • Revealing the customer's responses

  • Enabling a retake quiz option

  • Modifying the results description

Additionally, you have the flexibility to edit the contents of your email.
