The Product weight logic type is based on the weight assigned to each product at the answer level.

Products are recommended in the results based on which product accumulated the most weight (numerical value) by the end of the quiz.

Instead of creating answer paths, you directly link questions with products on the question creation page and allocate a specific weight to each product.

Changing the results logic type

You can adjust the results logic on any quiz that has been created with a blank template.

Steps:

  1. From the quiz builder, click Settings.

  2. Click Recommendations.

  3. Under Results Logic, click the drop-down menu for logic options, and click Single.

  4. In the text box under Recommended products limit, enter the maximum number of products that you want to show on the quiz results page.

  5. Click Save.

Setting up Product weight results logic

To set up the Product weight results logic, you need to recommend products for each answer, and assign weights to them.

Steps:

  1. From the quiz builder, click on the Quiz tab.

  2. Click a question, then an answer that you want to set up product weights for.

  3. On the right-hand menu, under Selected products, click Select products.

  4. Check all the products that you want to recommend when a customer chooses this answer, then click Save and close.

  5. Click Add weight next to one of the products you selected.

  6. In the text box, enter a weight (a numerical value) you want to give the product. You can set the weight for the full product, or for each variant.

  7. Click Apply, then click Save.

Repeat steps 2 to 7 for each of your answers that you want to associate product weights for.

The product with the highest weighted score is recommended at the end of the quiz.
